Harmon Apartments

The Boston Home celebrates the ribbon cutting for Harmon Apartments. Quality affordable housing for people living with disabilities is often hard to come by, and Boston is leading the effort to change that. Mayor Walsh joins local elected officials to celebrate the ribbon cutting. The $17.6 million project holds 36 units with the purpose of housing adults with significant mobility and functional impairments.

The Boston Home celebrated groundbreaking of Harmon Apartments, Mayor Martin J. Walsh, State Senator Linda Dorcena Forry, local elected officials and members of the disability community were special attendees at the groundbreaking. Affirmative Investments is co-developers, with The Boston Home on the project.

 Harmon Apartments, located in the Ashmont/Peabody Square area of Boston, is a new 36 units of accessible, and mixed-income one and two-bedroom apartment community serving adults living with physical disabilities, including those that are progressively degenerative.  Features include integrated technology, wellness and support programs, including services sponsored by the Greater New England Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
