Located on a remediated 10-acre brownfield site, the new 64,000-square-foot Cape Ann YMCA offers a full-size gymnasium, eight-lane pool, splash pad, preschool classrooms, fitness studios, and a community café. Designed to reflect the coastal identity of Cape Ann, the facility now serves over 5,600 low- and moderate-income residents—more than doubling its reach. Supported by New Markets Tax Credit equity and tax-exempt bonds, the project created nearly 400 jobs and established a lasting hub for health, wellness, and education.
