Lawrenceville Tryp Hotel

Pittsburgh, PA

This adaptive reuse project transformed the former Washington Polytechnic High School into a 108-room boutique hotel featuring two restaurants, a rooftop deck, art gallery, meeting space, fitness center, and public parking. The project preserved the building’s historic character while aligning with Lawrenceville’s creative and economic resurgence. Affirmative Investments supported NMTC structuring for Pittsburgh Urban Initiatives, helping secure tax credit equity to close key financing gaps and deliver a vibrant, community-rooted hospitality destination.
