Paris Village is a 32 units of 21 two-bedrooms and 11-three bedroom housing in the East Boston neighborhood. The project serves a significant need for family size units in East Boston. The project will create a one-4-story building. The building will be built to LEED Silver Certificate standards. The site is within walkding distance of a number of essential amenities, including a full service grocery store, conveniece stores, dry cleaners, nail and hair salons, restaurants, houses of worship, a post office, and public parks. The convenient location of the Paris Village Apartments preserves the independence and active community participation of the family residents. 


Barlett B

Bartlett B is the first mid-rise building to be constructed on the Bartlett Yard, an 8.5 acre that was occupied by the former MBTA bus yard and had been unused for over 20 years. The new Bartlett Place is an innovative urban mixed-used development that features affordable, low and middle income housing as well as public markets, shops, grocery stores, and interactive arts in the Dudley area. The Bartlett Building B entails the construction of 60 apartment rental units and 12,000 SF of first-floor retail in one building with LIHTC and NMTC components. 


Licoln Park

Total Development Cost: $12.9 million

Anticipated Completion: January, 2018

Located in Dartmouth, MA, the project consists of the development of 48 units of affordable senior housing on the former location of the Lincoln Amusement Park in Dartmouth, MA. The village at Lincoln Park will include a 30-one bedroom and 18 two-bedroom apartments. Six of the 48 units will be handicapped accessible. The town officials and community members are supportive of the village and have been actively involved in the planning and approvals of the development of the process to date. 


Notantico Ribbon Cutting

Notantico Woods was strongly supported by the Town of Falmouth and the local neighborhood. It’s Woods Hole's first affordable housing project. The project converted an existing, unfinished 6,000 square foot home into 7 apartments and a new construction building housing 4 units. The combination of one and two bedroom units will house those at 30% to 60% Area Median Income.  20% of the units were set-aside for those with very low-incomes.

Affirmative acted as co-developers with The Chelsea Jewish Foundation on this project that provided 40 new units of mixed-income rental housing with supportive services for elderly residents of Winthrop and surrounding communities. 37 of the 40 units were pegged at affordable rental rates to meet a growing need among elderly community members. The new development also integrates personal care and homemaking services provided through the CFJ affiliated personal care agency, Richman Personal Care. These services, combined with nearby access to transportation will enable seniors to age with independence. 


Schoolhouse Green

Schoolhouse Green is a mixed-use development located along the Teaticket Highway in Falmouth, MA. The project includes 39 apartments for low-income seniors leased at between 15% and 60% AMI, as well as the historic renovation of the oldest schoolhouse in Falmouth re-adapted into office spaces. The development also helped knit together the broader community by creating a public linear park along the thoroughfare to improve the pedestrian experience. The project has been lauded by the community and was much needed in the area, leasing up in less than two months.

Waverley Woods is a 100% affordable development situated that transformed a challenging development site into multi-family housing that makes Belmont a more inclusive neighborhood. The 40 units were constructed in six 2.5 story townhouses that now offer Belmont’s residents 36 units at or below 60% AMI and 4 at or below 30% AMI. This transit-oriented development also includes 3 fully accessible units, an accessible play area and numerous green-design elements that aim to conserve water, reduce energy use and educate the community about sustainable living. 


Silver Sky

Silver Sky Assisted Living is an affordable housing complex developed with Nevada HAND of Las Vegas that now offers 90 units of assisted, affordable living for seniors. These one-and two-bedroom apartments represented the first affordable assited living facility in the state of Nevada. Nevada Hand is a HUD-certified Community Housing Development Organization that builds and manages affordable housing for families and seniors across the state.

Fairmont Apartments is mixed-use property in the Garfield section of Pittsburgh, PA. As an urban infill project, it was built with extensive community consultation. Today the complex contains 60 units of affordable rental housing, 10,000 SF of commercial space, including a café, a yoga studio, a health center and part of a complex that includes 17 loft-style condominium housing units and a restaurant

704 Main Condominium is a 10,000 SF condominium complex developed with the Falmouth Housing Corporation to bring affordable rental units for families to the Falmouth and surrounding Cape Cod communites. In addition to mixed income housing, this commerical and residential building includes a daycare center and bank branch. 


Summer Street3

Located in the heart of historic Manchester-by-the-Sea, directly across from a Boston commuter line, Summer Street Condominiums is an example of smart infill developed with the Manchester Affordable Housing Corporation. This award winning, mixed-use development features mixed-income owner-occupied townhouses, rental apartments, condominium flats, and three retail condos.
